Who We're Looking For

"Omni" means all, so we strive to have members of varied interests. Glamour fashionistas, mount/minion collectors, crafting enthusiasts, Gold Saucer highrollers, roleplayers, WoW refugees... and sprouts who are still figuring it all out, of course! More than anything, we are looking for friendly people who love the game and want to share the experience with some cool people.

Rules

The Golden Rule.

Be respectful, both inside and outside of the FC. Remember that wherever you go in Hydaelyn (or beyond) that you carry <<Omni>> with you! We don't expect you to get along with everybody all the time, but do ask that you keep any disagreements civil. The biggest thing we can offer as a free company is a safe and warm community.

Spoiler-Free Zone

The story in FFXIV is a large portion of the experience. When you openly discuss the story, you risk stealing that experience from new players who haven't yet played through it. To avoid frequent debates over what is considered a spoiler and what isn't, we ask that you keep story-related chat in the #spoilers channel on our Discord.

Don't forget about us!

We get that life happens, but absence for a prolonged period may result in us removing you from the FC during a member cleaning. If that happens, you're welcome to return whenever you find time to play again! Generally, members without personal chambers in the FC estate will be removed after 60 days of inactivity. Members with personal chambers will be given 6 months.

Endgame

We are currently holding a practice run of P1S every Saturday at 8PM CT. These are for practice so the primary goal is learning rather than completion. We want to give everyone a positive environment to learn the fights.

Treasure Hunts

We run treasure hunts weekly. Stormblood and Shadowbringers treasure hunts occur on Saturdays at 6PM CST. Endwalker hunts happen on Wednesdays at 6PM CT.If you've never done treasure hunts before, no worries! They're fairly simple. Just follow us around, help us kill stuff, and roll on loot.

Roleplaying

While we have a handful of members who roleplay, we are still working out our FC lore. We hope to start hosting get-togethers soon!

Lore

The Omni Venture was founded by jack-of-all-trades Lenora Lovett, a Hyur whose diverse background put her in the unique position of having experience (and, perhaps more importantly, friends) in all three fields.When her father passed away, leaving her a business she did not have the skills to run alone, she decided to sell what she could and create something of her own. She wanted to start a company that would bridge the gap between academics, adventurers, and artisans for profit... and then she would share those profits with the people she had so yearned to help while she was an adventurer. She sold her father's business and did a lot of networking using her connections among the traders of Ul'dah, the members of the Adventurer's Guild, and the researchers of Sharlayan. With tireless gumption and no small amount of help, she established the Omni Venture in the heart of Ul'dah.Her hard work paid off: the Omni Venture rapidly became a booming business. More than that, it became a thriving community full of people from a wide range of backgrounds.

Venues

Story-wise, the Omni Venture has headquarters in every main city in Eorzea and other buildings (warehouses, shops, etc.) besides. We only have a few set up in-game, though. You'll find all venues associated with us below. Click on them to learn more!Upon entry, you'll find a shop displaying an assortment of goods the company's craftsmen have created. Down the hall (through the Private Chambers door), is the office. Below is the member quarters which includes the job board, a lounge, and the crafting center.

The Main Office

The headquarters in Ul'dah is commonly referred to as the main office, though the meeting room is one of its least-used facilities. Outside, there are a few of stalls selling fresh produce from the estate's garden, armor, and seasonal wares. Inside is a small shopfront displaying some artisans' most recent productions. The door in the back leads into a hallway, down which the meeting room, bathroom, and member quarters are located. Another door on the side wall leads downstairs, where the vaunted Venture Board can be found in the member lounge and the crafting center just beyond that.
